We met in 2003 at church when Brandon would visit New Jerusalem with his sister Talia. Our first nonverbal interaction was one night after choir rehersal, I was being picked up by my mom and as I got in the car, Brandon was standing outside already on the steps. I got in the car, looked back and smiled at him and he smiled back. From that point on we saw more of each other at church and the rest became history!
