Over the last 11 years, Kiyshona aka Kiki has become more than just a best friend...she has become my sister.  My wedding day would not be complete without her by my side.  The quote that would best describe Kiki is "Often imitated, never duplicated".

I feel so honored that my little sister is joining me in my very special day and standing right by my side.  I can truly say that I am my sister's keeper.  Sometimes I have to remind myself that I'm her sister and not her mother.  I know I can be overprotective at times but she knows that it's all out of love. The bond we share is one that can never be replaced or removed.

Sugar (yes that's her real name!  lol) is another sister of mine who I can always count on to give it to me straight with no sugar coating (no pun intended).  Sugar and I were first introduced to each other back in 2010 and have been the best of friends since.

Over the past 3 years, Tasha has always been that loyal friend who I may not talk to everyday, but we always check on each other every now and again.  I appreciate the fact that she knows that you don't have to talk everyday for hours on end just to be classified as friends.  She has been there for me on numerous occasions, both happy and sad.  And for that I love her like my sister.  It's funny that I still have her saved in my phone as "Tasha T", a nickname I gave her when I couldn't remember her last name when I first met her and we exchanged numbers. I remember us sitting down for dinner at Olive Garden on a "Girls' Night Out" talking about how we were going to be in each other's wedding.  And now the day has come for one of us to walk down that aisle with the other standing by her side.  I'm looking forward to the day that I can do the same for her.

Chevy and I started out as co-workers almost 2 years ago and have since blossomed into the best of friends.  She has been the same, unwavering, loyal friend since day one.  I can always count on her to keep it 100% with me, sugar-coating nothing, rather I'm right or wrong, she's going to tell me about myself and tell me to suck it up afterwards.  Everyone needs a true friend in their life like Chevy and I am truly blessed to have her in mine.

Stephanie is the most genuine person I know.  You would think we have known each other for years, but believe it or not, it's only been 2 years...two wonderful years.  Words cannot express how appreciative I am to have her in my life.  I'm looking forward to many more years of our friendship and sharing precious moments with both of our families.

Jammie-Pooh is the best niece an auntie could ask for.  Her frequent kisses and hugs brighten even my most dreary days.  Jammie and I share a special day called Girls' Day and we celebrate this day because "Girl's Rock!" as Jammie would say.  Girl's Day can be anyday of the week, as many days as we wish and is filled with manicures, movies, games, and ice cream.  The bond Jammie-Pooh and I share is priceless.  I am blessed to be able to look back 10 years from now and say that my beautiful niece was a part of my wedding day.

I can remember when Kiyshona was pregnant with Jordynn.  I couldn't wait for her to arrive.  I have watched her grow from an infant to the beautiful six year old princess she is today.  I was so elated when I found out she would be attending the same elementary school as KJ as well as have KJ's same Kindergarden teacher.  Her face would light up as I walked into the school lunchroom and invite her to have lunch with KJ and I.  I would always bring them a burger king kid's meal, but JoJo always perfers the school lunch for some reason!  There was never a question as to who I wanted to be my ribbon twirlers, JoJo and Namu were first choice.

Kristine aka Namu has always been a joy to have around.  I can always count on seeing that beautiful smile at all of KJ's functions from Halloween parties, birthday parties, to his Back to School Bashes.  She is always full of life and excitement.  Jordynn and Namu have such an important and beautiful role at the wedding and I'm blessed to have them.

Jade is one of the sweetest young girls I know.  Her mom an I have been friends for almost 10 years now so I have been blessed to get to know Jade and be a part of her life.  She has been a great friend to my son KJ as she comes to almost all of his events, from birthday parties to back to school slumber parties.

My lil bro surprised me with his poetic gift.  Never new he was such a good writer and I am proud that he has decided to go to school in North Carolina (even tho it was NCCU smh).  I still love my little brother tho.

Very good spirited brother of mine.  Always in a good mood and  very athletic.  He's been blessed from the start ever since elementary school when he happened to be in a class that got adopted by a family that wanted to see kids further their education.  He can go to any school he wants to on a full scholarship.

KJ is one of the coolest, smartest, and well mannered kid I have known.  I am amazed at his manners and how he interacts with his Mom.  He seems like he is ahead of his time being such a gentleman in his young age.  I look forward to having many more awesome times with my future step Son.
